The Infrastructure team at Sea provides end-to-end managed services, including data center architecture, connectivity, cloud, networking, system, storage, and security. The team ensures that all Sea products and services run smoothly by maintaining a robust backbone infrastructure. As a Data Center Engineer, you will manage IDC facilities, servers, and network equipment across all regions. Responsibilities include racking, stacking, and installing hardware, performing structured cabling, and maintaining infrastructure health. You will troubleshoot server hardware faults, manage component replacements, perform basic network connectivity checks, and deploy Linux server operating systems. The role also involves managing data center assets, inventories, and collaborating with facility partners to ensure cooling, fire suppression, and UPS systems operate correctly.
Tanggung jawab: Rack, stack, and install servers, network, and storage equipment (rail mounting, power connection, structured cabling with labeling); Maintain, diagnose, and troubleshoot infrastructure health (server hardware faults, component replacement); Coordinate with vendors on RMA where required; Perform basic network connectivity troubleshooting at the physical layer (ping tests, link/port status, SFP/transceiver troubleshooting); Deploy and configure Linux server operating systems; Manage data center assets, spares, and inventories; Maintain documentation and reports for auditing; Work with data center partners to ensure facilities (cooling, fire suppression, UPS) are working properly.
Kualifikasi: Minimum Diploma in Information Technology, Telecommunication/Computer Engineering, or related fields; Hands-on experience in data center operations; Familiarity with server hardware, network equipment, and facility management; Hands-on server hardware troubleshooting skills; Familiarity with major server brands (e.g., Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Supermicro) and out-of-band management tools (iDRAC, iLO, XClarity or equivalent); Experience in rack and stack of servers and network equipment; Basic knowledge of RAID levels (e.g., RAID 0/1/5/10), including checking array and disk status and replacing failed drives.
