Meratus Group is a leading integrated maritime and logistics operator in Indonesia with a history dating back to 1957. We operate over 45 shipping routes, a fleet of 100 vessels, and a network of container terminals and logistics centers. We are committed to digitalization, innovation, and sustainability. We are seeking a dedicated Operation Staff to oversee and manage our sea freight logistics operations in Jakarta. You will ensure the smooth handling of cargo from origin to destination, supervise the operations team, and coordinate with stakeholders to guarantee timely and accurate shipment delivery.
Tanggung jawab: Oversee daily sea freight activities, including cargo handling, loading, unloading, and storage, ensuring adherence to safety standards; Lead and mentor the sea freight operations team, provide training, and conduct performance evaluations; Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency; Address and resolve operational challenges such as shipment delays, documentation errors, and cargo handling issues; Collaborate closely with internal departments and external partners (shipping lines, freight forwarders, trucking companies, depots, customs authorities); Ensure all sea freight operations comply with local, international, and company regulations; Prepare and analyze operational performance reports and track key metrics.
Kualifikasi: Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Preferably 3-5 years of experience in sea freight logistics; Proven operational leadership skills in managing sea freight activities effectively; Proficiency with logistics management systems and operational software; Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive improvements; In-depth knowledge of international sea freight regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements; Familiarity with best practices in sea freight operations and compliance standards; Note: Meratus is committed to ethical hiring practices and does not request any payment from candidates.
