Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the overall claims operations for General Insurance products. Develop and implement claims strategies, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and customer experience.
Oversee claim assessment, investigation, approval, settlement, and recovery processes. Monitor claims reserves, loss ratios, and claims trends to support business profitability. Ensure claims are processed in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Collaborate with Underwriting, Risk Management, Legal, Reinsurance, and other stakeholders to resolve complex claims. Manage relationships with adjusters, surveyors, investigators, workshops, hospitals, and other service providers. Review and approve high-value and complex claims within delegated authority limits.
Analyze claims data and prepare management reports, insights, and recommendations. Lead, coach, and develop the claims team to achieve operational excellence and service standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and digital transformation projects within the claims function.
Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in General Insurance Claims, with at least 3 years in a managerial role .
