A Holding Company with a new subsidiary within the Maritime Business is seeking a Chartering Control professional to support commercial activities. Reporting directly to the management team, this role is based in South Jakarta and focuses on evaluating chartering opportunities, assessing voyage profitability, and managing commercial negotiations related to freight contracts.
The Chartering Control will be responsible for analyzing voyage economics, evaluating freight rates, operating costs, and market conditions. The role involves assisting in the negotiation of charter party terms, reviewing charter contracts to identify commercial risks, and coordinating with Operations and Vessel Management teams regarding vessel deployment. Additionally, the incumbent will prepare voyage estimates, budget forecasts, performance reports, and maintain market intelligence on freight trends and competitor activities.

- Analyze voyage economics and chartering opportunities to maximize profitability.
- Evaluate freight rates, operating costs, and market conditions.
- Assist in negotiating charter party terms and freight agreements.
- Review charter contracts and identify potential commercial risks.
- Coordinate with Operations and Vessel Management teams regarding vessel availability and deployment.
- Prepare voyage estimates, budget forecasts, and performance reports.
- Maintain market intelligence on freight trends and competitor activities.
- Support contract administration and compliance with commercial obligations.
