• Identify and develop opportunities for business growth and portfolio expansion
• Analyze commodity positions and market conditions to identify trading opportunities
• Apply appropriate trading strategies during various market trends or economic condition
• Conduct negotiations on buying and selling activities
• Provide market insights, recommendations, and guidance to support buying and selling decision
• Monitor supply and demand factors affecting prices, valuations, and trade flows
• Track international market performance and communicate relevant developments to internal and external stakeholders
• Manage customer accounts and market coverage
• Build good business relationships with existing networks and potential trading partners
• Improve efficiency in operations
• Collaborate closely with operations team to ensure smooth physical settlement of commodities
• Requirements:
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Economics & Business, Agribusiness, or related majors
• Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in Agricultural Commodities Trading (e.g. Soybean, Corn, Soybean Meal, Corn Gluten Meal, etc.)
• Have experience in International agricultural commodities trading
• Have strong analytical skills and a strong self-initiative
• Have excellence in customer orientation & entrepreneurial mindset
• High attention to detail, strong results orientation, and willing to be hands-on
• Excellent communication & negotiation skills, both written & spoken, both in English and Bahasa Indonesia
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in Power BI would be an advantage
