This role involves providing technical leadership and engineering oversight for LNG/FSRU conversion and offshore projects. The Senior Piping Engineer is responsible for reviewing piping engineering deliverables, ensuring the safe integration of regasification topsides with existing LNG carrier hulls, and supporting vendor and procurement evaluations. Furthermore, the position entails maintaining compliance with applicable marine, offshore, and Oil & Gas standards throughout the fabrication, installation, commissioning, and handover phases. The engineer will verify deliverables against project specifications, identify design gaps or technical risks, and recommend effective solutions for complex piping systems.
