Senior Design Engineer

The role includes preparing design calculations, developing engineering drawings, ensuring compliance with international design codes and providing technical support throughout project execution. • Perform engineering design for Pressure Vessels, Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers (STHE), and Storage Tanks. • Prepare and review design calculations in accordance with project requirements and applicable design codes. • Develop and review General Arrangement (GA) drawings based on approved design calculations. • Ensure all designs comply with client specifications, datasheets, and international standards. • Utilize PV design software such as PV Elite and COMPRESS to perform engineering calculations. • Coordinate with Project Engineers, Drafting, Production, Procurement, and QA/QC teams to support project execution. • Provide technical clarification and engineering support throughout the project lifecycle. • Participate in design reviews and resolve engineering issues as required. • Ensure engineering deliverables are completed accurately and within project schedules.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline. • Minimum 10 years of experience in Pressure Vessel Design Engineering. • Proficient in PV Elite and COMPRESS software. • Strong knowledge of ASME Section VIII Divisions 1 & 2, ASME Section II, TEMA, and relevant engineering standards. • Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is an advantage. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Good communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to work independently and perform effectively under pressure.
