• Design, deploy, and manage production-grade workloads on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) with Istio service mesh and APISIX API gateway
• Develop and maintain high-performance microservices using Golang
• Manage and optimize databases: Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), MongoDB Atlas, Memorystore (Redis), and Persistent Disk
• Implement secure networking: Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud NAT, Cloud VPN, VPC design, and private service connectivity
• Handle VM-based workloads including database replication, internal email services, and hybrid connectivity
• Work with Cloud Storage for durable object storage and data pipelines
• Implement and manage Keycloak for identity & access management (SSO, OAuth2, OpenID Connect)
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Pulumi preferred)
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, cost optimization, and security compliance
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance using GCP native tools + Istio observability

• Academic Requirements
• Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
• Technical Skills Requirements
• 5+ years of backend/platform engineering experience
• Strong expertise in Golang (microservices, concurrency, performance tuning)
• Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) – Autopilot & Standard modes
• Istio service mesh (or equivalent)
• APISIX or similar API gateway
• Keycloak identity platform
• Cloud SQL, MongoDB Atlas, Memorystore (Redis)
• Cloud Storage, Persistent Disk
• VPC networking, private services, firewall rules
• Experience with VM-based workloads and database replication strategies
• Strong understanding of observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Logging/Monitoring)
• IaC experience (Terraform strongly preferred)
• Solid knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes networking, security best practices, and GitOps (ArgoCD preferred)

• Experience with multi-region / multi-cluster GKE setups
• Knowledge of service mesh advanced features (mTLS, traffic mirroring, fault injection)
• Background in high-traffic systems or fintech/crypto/gaming
• Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, Tekton)
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures (Pub/Sub, Kafka)
