This role involves managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure based on OpenStack, specifically focusing on Red Hat OpenStack environments. The engineer will be responsible for end-to-end installation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of the infrastructure in production environments. Key responsibilities include performing patching and minor version updates, troubleshooting complex issues across Controller, Compute, Network, and Storage components, and ensuring high availability. The role requires deep technical expertise in RHEL, infrastructure automation using Ansible, and networking protocols to support critical production systems.
Kualifikasi: Minimum 3 years of experience in Linux, Cloud Infrastructure, OpenStack, or related infrastructure roles; Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on OpenStack experience, preferably Red Hat OpenStack; Participated directly in at least one end-to-end OpenStack installation or deployment from scratch; Hands-on experience performing OpenStack patching or minor version updates in a production environment; Strong administration and troubleshooting skills in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL); Good understanding of OpenStack architecture and interaction between Controller, Compute, Network, and Storage components; Good Linux troubleshooting skills covering systemd, networking, storage, processes, logs, and performance analysis; Good understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, bonding/LACP, MTU, DNS, load balancing, and overlay networking; Good understanding of virtualization, compute, storage, and High Availability concepts; Able to troubleshoot using CLI and logs; Familiar with Ansible and infrastructure automation; Familiar with Git and configuration/version control; Comfortable working in production environments with incident, problem, and change management processes.
