Packaging Development Manager

Responsibilities: Design packaging solutions for cosmetics and fragrance products, including primary, secondary, tertiary, and gifting packaging. Develop packaging structures for bottles, jars, cartons, rigid boxes, corrugated packaging, and other packaging components.

Create functional and visually appealing packaging designs, including closures, fitments, and decorative finishes. Conduct packaging testing, including drop, compression, vibration, transportation, and product compatibility testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Development, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and external suppliers, to support new product development.

Lead packaging development for new product launches, seasonal collections, and promotional programs while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Monitor project progress, communicate updates, identify risks, and provide effective solutions to stakeholders. Manage relationships with packaging suppliers to ensure quality, cost, delivery, and project requirements are achieved.

Ensure packaging complies with quality, regulatory, sustainability, and brand standards. Identify and resolve packaging, material, manufacturing, and supplier-related issues through practical engineering solutions. Represent the Packaging team throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept to commercialization.
