Oversees the testing, evaluation, and sourcing of raw materials to ensure they meet manufacturing, quality, and sustainability standards. Lead technical and supply chain teams to optimize material performance and drive product innovation. Responsibilities : 1. Test and analyze new raw materials to determine their characteristics, strengths, and weaknesses against product specifications. 2. Work with suppliers to source new materials, negotiate costs, and ensure timely delivery of samples and bulk orders. 3. Develop quality control (QC) testing protocols and ensure all materials comply with industry regulations and safety standards. 4. Collaborate with the R&D, product design, and production teams to seamlessly integrate new materials into manufacturing processes. 5. Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of material technicians and procurement/planning staff. 6. Track material costs, performance metrics, and inventory data to optimize budgets and eliminate waste. Requirements : 1. Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field is typically required. 2. 3–5 years of hands-on experience in materials testing, supply chain planning, or manufacturing. 3. Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems, and data analytics. 4. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, cross-departmental communication, and negotiation skills 5. Willing to be placed in Sidoarjo, East Java
