Freight Forwarding Sales (Air & Sea Freight)

PERSOL Indonesia is currently assisting one of our Japanese client in finding great talent as a Freight Forwarding Sales to be working in West Surabaya with the requirement as follows: Job Responsibility: Conduct client visits across Indonesia

Handle sales activities with an approximate ratio of 70% new business and 30% existing clients, mainly targeting Japanese companies operating in Indonesia. Perform detailed client hearings to identify and analyze import/export logistics needs, including trade routes and shipping requirements. Prepare and propose quotations related to international freight, customs clearance, documentation, and inland transportation, based on client requirements.

Coordinate closely with internal teams (operations, documentation, customs, finance) and external stakeholders (shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers). Balance client requirements with operational feasibility and cost efficiency, requiring strong coordination and stakeholder management skills. Requirements:

4–5 years of experience in freight forwarding company Business-level English proficiency. Valid driver's license (SIM A)

Experience in both Air Freight and Ocean Freight. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and proactively drive business
