About the Role We are seeking an Economics and Benchmarking Analyst to take ownership of the macroeconomic inputs that underpin AME’s research and forecasting, and to keep them current, consistent, and “joined-up” across our systems and client-facing product (SaaS platform - "AME Direct"). Working alongside our Chief Economist, the Economics Analyst will own the quarterly cadence of updating our macroeconomic scenarios and country-level forecasts, ensuring the underlying data flows through consistently from the global baseline to individual country views, and ultimately to the energy prices and cost curves that depend on them.

This is a role designed to grow. The initial focus is on taking ownership of the quarterly process and the data behind it. As you build familiarity with AME’s house view and the industries we cover, the role broadens into the written and analytical side; authoring the qualitative country commentary and producing region-specific analysis alongside the Chief Economist.
