Job Overview: The Deputy Project Manager will support the Regional Project Manager in planning, execution and delivery of Belayan peatland Project, with a primary technical focus on peatland hydrology, restoration and carbon methodology implementation. This role serves as the technical bridge between project management, peatland fields teams, carbon documentation, and stakeholders. The Deputy Project Manager also will support the Regional Project Manager in overseeing and managing administrative task related to human resources, administration, accounting, general affairs, and office management. This role requires strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills to ensure the smooth operation of both the office and field locations. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with different departments and teams to streamline processes and maintain compliance with company policies and regulations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Management & Technical Oversight Support day-to-day project coordination, planning, scheduling, and monitoring. Translate project objectives into actionable peatland workplans. Track milestones, risks, and deliverables. Act as delegated technical lead when required. 2. Peatland Management & Restoration Lead technical implementation of peatland restoration activities. Support avoided planned wetland conversion strategies. Supervise peatland baseline assessments. Support peat fire risk mitigation. 3. Carbon Standards & Documentation
