Peran ini sangat cocok bagi individu yang memiliki ketertarikan dan keahlian dalam pemeliharaan server dan switch, pengelolaan kabel, manajemen aset, penanganan masalah jarak jauh, serta koordinasi fasilitas pusat data. Dalam menjalankan tugasnya, Data Center IT Engineer bertanggung jawab penuh terhadap instalasi, konfigurasi, pemeliharaan, serta pemecahan masalah pada server, sistem penyimpanan (storage), dan perangkat keras jaringan seperti router, switch, dan firewall. Selain itu, teknisi ini juga melakukan tugas fisik seperti racking, stacking, dan pengkabelan, memantau kontrol lingkungan data center, melakukan inspeksi pencegahan berkala, mengelola inventaris aset, serta berkolaborasi dengan tim jaringan dan vendor guna memastikan seluruh infrastruktur beroperasi dengan aman, stabil, dan sesuai standar keamanan yang berlaku.
Tanggung jawab: 1) Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, storage systems, and networking hardware (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls); 2) Perform physical tasks such as racking, stacking, cabling, and hardware replacements; 3) Monitor and manage environmental controls (temperature, humidity, airflow) to ensure optimal data center performance; 4) Perform regular equipment inspections and preventive maintenance; 5) Respond to and resolve support tickets related to hardware and network issues in a timely manner; 6) Manage asset inventory and maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure, cabling layout, and equipment tracking; 7) Work closely with network and systems teams to support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and incident resolution; 8) Ensure compliance with security protocols, safety standards, and company policies; 9) Collaborate with vendors and service providers for hardware support and facility-related work.
Kualifikasi: Degree in a computer-related field; Strong communication skills, responsible, able to handle work pressure, and a team player.
