Manage and oversee daily warehouse operations, including inbound receiving, storage, and outbound distribution Plan, coordinate, and monitor shipping and receiving schedules to ensure timely delivery and optimal workflow Lead day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and within deadlines Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast workload demand, align on priorities, and resolve scheduling conflicts Establish and enforce warehouse policies, procedures, and operational standards Determine appropriate storage methods and stock locations based on product type, turnover rates, and space utilization Maintain accurate inventory by conducting regular physical counts and reconciling discrepancies with system records Ensure proper use of warehouse systems to track materials movement and inventory levels Monitor warehouse safety and security by enforcing procedures and maintaining compliance with guidelines Maintain the warehouse facility and equipment, including layout planning, inspections, and coordinating repairs or replacements Track and report on stock usage, damages, and operational performance as needed Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and service delivery Supervise, coach, and support warehouse staff to achieve operational goals Plan staffing levels, manage work schedules, and monitor productivity (including overtime when required) Support hiring, training, performance management, and employee development
