About the role We are seeking a talented and customer-focused Host/ Hostess to join our Front Office & Guest Services team at Locca Sea House in Bali. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in creating a positive first impression for our guests. As Hostess, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, coordinating table assignments, and ensuring every visitor feels valued and appreciated from the moment they arrive. This position is integral to our operations and directly impacts guest satisfaction and retention.

Key responsibilities Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a positive and memorable first impression Manage the reservation system efficiently and accurately, including taking bookings, confirming reservations, and maintaining up-to-date records

Coordinate seating arrangements and table assignments based on guest preferences, party size, and restaurant capacity Provide guests with menus, answer initial enquiries about dining options, and communicate wait times clearly and courteously Maintain a clean and organised reception area, including the hostess station and waiting areas

Liaise effectively with front-of-house and back-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction Handle guest enquiries and complaints with professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary Assist with special requests and accommodate guests with accessibility requirements or dietary considerations

Process payments at the host stand when required and maintain accuracy in financial transactions Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues in delivering exceptional service What we're looking for
