• Manage and oversee all customs clearance procedures for import shipments
• Prepare and submit customs documentation, including declarations, permits, and regulatory filings
• Liaise with customs authorities and government agencies to facilitate smooth clearance of goods
• Monitor changes in customs regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and requirements
• Resolve customs issues, discrepancies, and delays to maintain operational continuity
• Coordinate with internal teams including logistics, finance, and operations to ensure accurate documentation and timely processing
• Maintain detailed records of all customs clearance activities and prepare regular compliance reports
• Manage relationships with customs brokers and third-party service providers
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimisation in customs operations
• Train and supervise customs clearance staff to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency
