Deskripsi pekerjaan
Cost Engineer bertanggung jawab dalam melakukan peninjauan terhadap dokumen penawaran, spesifikasi teknis, serta gambar kerja untuk menghitung estimasi biaya secara menyeluruh. Peran ini melibatkan penyusunan rincian anggaran material, jam kerja fabrikasi, pengujian, hingga pekerjaan subkontrak untuk mendukung proses tender secara optimal. Selain itu, posisi ini berkolaborasi erat dengan berbagai departemen seperti teknik, pengadaan, penjualan, dan tim proyek guna memastikan kelayakan penawaran komersial serta memelihara data historis biaya proyek dan catatan harga pemasok secara akurat.
Tanggung jawab: Review customer inquiries, drawings, datasheets, specifications, scope of work, and tender documents; Prepare material take-off and estimate material requirements; Calculate cost estimates for material, fabrication manhours, welding consumables, NDE/testing, machining, coating/painting, packing, transport, and subcontracted works; Prepare cost breakdown, quotation support data, assumptions, exclusions, and clarification lists; Request and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors; Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, Workshop, and Project teams; Support technical-commercial clarification during tender and quotation stages; Maintain costing data, supplier price records, and historical project cost references.
Kualifikasi: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science ( Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related fields is preferred ); Experience in cost estimation, fabrication, mechanical equipment, project cost, or tender preparation is an advantage; Fresh graduates with strong technical ability may be considered for Junior level; Able to read technical drawings, datasheets, material specifications, and tender documents; Basic understanding of fabrication processes such as cutting, rolling, fit-up, welding, machining, NDE, hydrotest, painting/coating, and packing.
