Commercial Controller

Job Summary Commercial Controller is responsible for overseeing the commercial performance of Samara Lombok’s projects by managing contract administration, cost control, commercial reporting, and project profitability monitoring. This role ensures that project costs, variations, claims, procurement activities, and financial performance are properly tracked, reviewed, and controlled. The position works closely with project, QS, procurement, finance, and management teams to identify commercial risks, support sound decision-making, and protect the financial interests of the business across all project stages.

Key Responsibilities Monitor project commercial performance, cost position, and profitability to ensure alignment with approved budgets and business objectives. Review and manage contracts, variations, claims, payment applications, and commercial correspondence to protect company interests.

Support project cost control, budget tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting to maintain clear visibility of project performance. Coordinate closely with QS, procurement, finance, and project teams to ensure accurate cost data, contract compliance, and timely commercial updates. Identify commercial risks, cost overruns, contractual issues, and potential disputes, while recommending practical mitigation strategies.

Prepare clear commercial reports, dashboards, and management updates covering project costs, risks, claims, variations, and profitability.
