Business Development Sales

Job Title: Business Development Executive Sales (Seafood, Spice and Vegetables commodity) Location: Jakarta, Indonesia Reports to: Director Employment type: Full-time To drive top-line revenue and gross-margin growth by building a portfolio of buyers and trading relationships across seafood, spice, and vegetable commodities — sourcing demand, negotiating deals, and ensuring reliable, profitable execution across export and domestic markets. Business development & sales

Identify, prospect, and convert new buyers (importers, distributors, wholesalers, processors, foodservice, and retail) across target markets. Build and manage a sales pipeline, owning the full cycle from lead generation through negotiation to closing. Develop and execute account plans to grow volume and margin from existing customers.

Represent the company at trade fairs, industry events, and buyer meetings, locally and internationally. Commercial & deal management Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and Incoterms (FOB, CIF, etc.), structuring deals that protect gross margin.

Work with sourcing/procurement to match supply availability and quality to customer demand. Monitor commodity price movements, market trends, and competitor activity to inform pricing and positioning. Prepare quotations, proposals, and contracts, and ensure smooth handover to operations/logistics for fulfilment.

Relationship & market management Build long-term relationships with buyers, suppliers, and trading partners across Indonesia and export markets. Maintain accurate records of customers, leads, and deals in CRM, with regular pipeline and forecast reporting.
