Warehouse Supervisor

About the role We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join PT. Kertas Terpadu Batamindo in Batam, Kepulauan Riau. This is a contract position that plays a crucial role in overseeing daily warehouse operations and ensuring efficient storage, inventory management, and distribution of materials. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team, maintaining operational excellence, and supporting the company's logistics and supply chain objectives. This role is essential to our manufacturing and distribution operations, directly impacting productivity and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff to ensure efficient daily operations and adherence to safety protocols Manage inventory control, including receiving, storing, and dispatching of products and materials

Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems Ensure proper organisation and labelling of warehouse areas to facilitate easy retrieval and tracking Coordinate loading and unloading operations and verify shipment accuracy before distribution

Conduct regular inspections of warehouse facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards Train and develop warehouse team members on best practices, safety procedures, and operational standards Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure product integrity

Prepare and review warehouse reports including stock movements, productivity metrics, and performance data Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and operations teams to optimise warehouse efficiency Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse environment
