The Utility Supervisor plays a critical role in planning, coordinating, and providing field supervision for activities and personnel involved in utility operations and maintenance. This includes overseeing essential facilities and systems such as water, compressed air, steam, and wastewater treatment and distribution. Beyond operational oversight, the role manages related controls, materials, and supplies while supporting the Environmental Management System (EMS). The supervisor is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and statutory requirements, leading emergency response activities, and driving continuous improvement in equipment reliability and energy efficiency.
Tanggung jawab: Implement and comply with Occupational Health, Safety & Environment (OHSE) Policy, Quality & Environmental Management System, BSL Policy, and Code of Conduct; Supervise and lead utility operators in daily operations, including work assignments, performance evaluations, employee development, disciplinary actions, and complaint resolution; Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, environmental requirements, operating procedures, licenses, permits, and applicable legal requirements for all Utility operations; Plan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities for Utility equipment (Boilers, Compressors, WWTP, STP, Demin water, Cooling water, Fire pump, etc.) to ensure reliability, availability, and safe operation; Maintain accurate records and reports of utility operations; Analyze Utility operational and maintenance data, identify trends and abnormal conditions, and recommend improvement actions to enhance equipment reliability, availability, energy efficiency, and operational performance; Develop, review, and update Utility SOPs, work instructions, and emergency response plans; Provide training, coaching, and competency development to Utility Operators; Coordinate with Purchasing, Store, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure timely availability of materials, chemicals, spare parts, and consumables; Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and other departments to ensure reliable Utility support; Lead emergency response activities related to Utility systems; Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly Utility performance reports; Perform crew work including the operation of motorized equipment as necessary.
Kualifikasi: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor's degree, or recognized equivalent; Minimum five (5) years of experience in utility operation and maintenance activities related to the area of assignment; At least two years of lead or supervisory experience; Proficiency in operating a computer and applicable software, including word processing and spreadsheet software; Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is an advantage; Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks; Ability to provide technical and professional leadership and direction; Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; Knowledge of safety precautions and occupational hazards in the use of equipment; safe work methods and practices; Knowledge of applicable state and local laws, codes, and regulations governing water operations and environmental compliance; Knowledge of materials, methods, tools, and equipment used in maintenance and repair work of water distribution and wastewater collection systems; Ability to interact and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; Valid certification related to utility & services area (boiler, wastewater collection & treatment, environmental control, etc.) is highly desirable.
