TECHNICAL MANAGER - Ship Repair

The Technical Manager is responsible for managing all technical and docking activities related to the repair, maintenance, of high-speed vessels. The role ensures all repair work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with customer requirements, classification rules, and applicable regulations. 1. Strong understanding of ship repair processes and docking operations.

- Lead and supervise the technical team
- Review job repair specifications, drawings, and technical documentation
- Plan and coordinate repair activities for aluminium and composite high-speed vessels
- Provide technical support to Project, ǪA/ǪC, and Procurement teams
- Evaluate vessel damage and determine appropriate repair methods
- Coordinate technical matters with owners, classification societies, equipment manufacturers, and subcontractors
- Ensure repairs comply with classification rules, customer specifications, and company quality standards
- Support inspections, sea trials, and final acceptance of repaired vessels
- Monitor project schedules, technical costs, and engineering performance
- Promote continuous improvement, safety, and technical competency within the technical team
