The Sustainable Business Specialist will lead the design, implementation, and scaling of sustainable business models across YKAN’s Blue Economy program sites. The role focuses on developing reef-positive and mangrove-positive businesses, sustainable fisheries products, and ecotourism initiatives. This position provides technical expertise to strengthen sustainable value chains and market access, working closely with site teams, local communities, economic institutions, supply chain actors, and private sector partners. Additionally, the specialist is responsible for developing and implementing go-to-market strategies and incentive mechanisms to accelerate the adoption of sustainable practices. The goal is to contribute to long-term conservation outcomes by bridging the gap between economic activities and environmental sustainability. The position reports to the Sustainable Practice Senior Manager.
