PT. SHOETOWN MUSTIKA INDONESIA Jl. Raya Lamongan–Gresik No.123, Gajah, Rejosari, Deket, Lamongan, East Java 62291 WE ARE HIRING MATERIAL DEVELOPMENT SUPERVISOR Placement: Lamongan PT. Shoetown Mustika Indonesia is currently seeking a qualified and experienced professional in material development to join our team as a Material Development Supervisor. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end material development process, from concept to mass production, while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and innovation in line with company standards.
Kualifikasi: Bachelor’s Degree in any field; Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Material Development, R&D, Product Development, or Material Engineering within manufacturing industries (preferably footwear); Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role; Proven experience in developing new materials from concept, trial, validation, to mass production implementation; Strong understanding of material characteristics, testing, and evaluation processes; Ability to analyze material performance to ensure quality and cost efficiency; Strong coordination skills with internal teams and external suppliers; Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills; Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines; Familiarity with continuous improvement (Lean/Kaizen) is an advantage; Proficiency in English is an advantage; Manage and oversee the material development process from concept to mass production; Conduct research and evaluation of new materials to support product innovation; Collaborate with R&D, production, quality, and suppliers in material development activities; Ensure developed materials meet quality standards, cost targets, and production requirements; Monitor and evaluate material performance during development and production stages; Identify and resolve material-related issues effectively; Manage development timelines to ensure alignment with project targets; Prepare reports and documentation related to material development processes; Lead, guide, and develop team members to improve performance and competency; Important Notes:; The recruitment process is free of charge.
