Posisi Software Engineer – Business Applications memiliki peran utama dalam merancang, mengembangkan, menyesuaikan, mengintegrasikan, serta memelihara aplikasi bisnis perusahaan dengan Odoo Community sebagai inti platform yang direncanakan. Tugas utamanya adalah membangun modul Odoo yang mudah dipelihara serta alur kerja bisnis menggunakan bahasa Python dengan menerapkan praktik terbaik dalam perancangan database, integrasi API, pengujian perangkat lunak, keamanan aplikasi, dan proses deployment. Kandidat akan bekerja sama secara langsung dengan para pemangku kepentingan bisnis dan tim pengembangan untuk menghadirkan aplikasi yang aman serta andal. Tanggung jawab harian meliputi pengembangan aplikasi Odoo, penerjemahan proses bisnis, penulisan kode Python yang bersih dan aman, kontribusi pada layanan backend pendukung termasuk penggunaan Go (Golang) jika diperlukan, integrasi sistem melalui API, manajemen database PostgreSQL, pengujian kualitas, deployment, serta penerapan kontrol akses dan dokumentasi teknis secara kolaboratif.
Tanggung jawab: 1. Odoo Application Development: Develop and customize Odoo Community modules, including models, business logic, views, workflows, access controls, and reports.; 2. Business Process Translation: Understand business requirements, map workflows, identify fit with standard Odoo capabilities, and implement maintainable solutions. Prefer configuration and standard-module extension over unnecessary core modificatio; 3. Python Engineering: Write readable, reusable, secure, testable Python code. Follow coding standards and Odoo development practices; troubleshoot defects and improve performance.; 4. Supporting Backend Services: Contribute to supporting APIs or backend components when required. Go (Golang) is an additional capability, not a core deliverable, and should only be used where justified by the solution architecture.; 5. System Integration: Integrate Odoo with internal applications, messaging platforms, third-party platforms, and business systems through APIs and appropriate integration patterns. Start with simple, supportable integration approaches and avoid intr; 6. Database & Data Management: Work with PostgreSQL, maintain data models, troubleshoot queries, support data migration, and ensure data integrity. Apply basic SQL reporting and data extraction practices while protecting the performance and security; 7. Testing & Quality: Create and execute unit, integration, and regression tests; support user acceptance testing and resolve issues before release.; 8. Deployment & Maintenance: Support deployment, version control, releases, backups, monitoring, troubleshooting, and Odoo module/version upgrades in coordination with IT Operations.; 9. Security & Access Control: Implement access rights, record rules, role-based permissions, and secure API practices; protect sensitive business data.; 10. Documentation & Collaboration: Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with the Business Application Lead, QA, Delivery team, IT Operations, and business users through development and handover..
