Posisi ini bertanggung jawab untuk memimpin dan mengoordinasikan aktivitas teknik terkait perbaikan kapal, pemeliharaan, dry-docking, konversi, dan proyek galangan kapal. Peran ini memastikan bahwa seluruh pekerjaan teknik direncanakan, dieksekusi, dan dipantau sesuai dengan spesifikasi teknis dan jadwal proyek. Engineering Lead akan berkoordinasi dengan berbagai pihak termasuk tim galangan kapal, kru kapal, Technical Superintendent, dan kontraktor.
