Multi Ocean Shipyard (MOS) is a shipyard company based in Tanjung Balai Karimun, Indonesia, specializing in vessel construction and marine engineering. The Project Manager – Shipbuilding / Newbuilding is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of vessel construction projects, from initial planning and engineering to production, commissioning, and final delivery. The role requires a professional capable of managing multidisciplinary teams, ensuring adherence to budgets and schedules, and maintaining high quality standards in a complex industrial environment.
Tanggung jawab: Lead end-to-end shipbuilding projects, ensuring delivery in accordance with contractual schedules, budgets, specifications, and quality standards; Coordinate engineering, procurement, production, subcontractors, and commissioning activities; Monitor project progress, costs, resources, risks, and construction milestones; Manage coordination with shipowners, consultants, suppliers, and classification societies; Oversee construction quality, testing, commissioning, sea trials, and final vessel delivery; Lead multidisciplinary project teams and resolve technical and operational challenges throughout project execution.
Kualifikasi: Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Shipbuilding, or a related field; Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in shipbuilding, newbuilding, or shipyard project execution; Proven experience managing vessel construction projects from planning through delivery; Strong understanding of shipyard production processes, engineering coordination, project scheduling, and cost control; Excellent project management, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; Good command of English and proficiency in project planning and reporting tools; Preferred: Experience in offshore vessel construction, cable-laying ships, or other specialized vessel newbuilding projects.
