The Server Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the technical upkeep and operational integrity of data center infrastructure. This role focuses on ensuring that server hardware remains functional and efficient, supporting critical business operations through proactive maintenance and rapid troubleshooting. Key responsibilities include performing hardware installations, rack mounting, cabling, and component replacements. The engineer will manage server logs, perform firmware updates, and utilize diagnostic tools to maintain systems. The role requires working in a data center environment and adhering to a shifting schedule.
Tanggung jawab: Server hardware installation and rack mounting; Cabling and hardware replacement; Troubleshooting server issues; Monitoring server logs and performing firmware updates; Utilizing hardware diagnostic tools.
Kualifikasi: Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, or related fields; Minimum 2 years of experience in server maintenance, hardware support, data center operations, IT infrastructure, or field service engineering; Hands-on experience with server hardware installation, rack mounting, cabling, hardware replacement, and troubleshooting; Familiar with server components such as CPU, RAM, HDD/SSD, motherboard, PSU, RAID, and related hardware; Good understanding of BIOS, firmware updates, server logs, and hardware diagnostic tools; Experience with server brands such as Huawei, Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Inspur, Supermicro, or similar is highly preferred; Experience in data center environments or server after-sales service is an advantage; Willing to work in a data center environment and shifting schedule.
