The Security Technician (Lead) is responsible for overseeing physical security operations within a Data Center facility, including Data Halls, Meet-Me Rooms, and loading bays. This role serves as the primary point of contact for security incidents, emergencies, and investigations, ensuring that all site security policies and access governance controls are strictly maintained. Beyond daily operations, the Lead Security Technician manages routine patrols, inspects security hardware such as CCTV and access control systems, and coordinates with vendors for maintenance. They also play a critical role in mentoring security personnel, developing operational playbooks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams like Facilities and EHS to ensure a compliant and secure operating environment.
