Security Engineer

Security Implementation and Maintenance:

• Implement and maintain security technologies such as SIEM, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS),
• Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and other security tools
• Configure and monitor security systems to detect and respond to security threat

Vulnerability Management:

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify 1 security weaknesses

• Participate in security incident response efforts, including containment, eradication, and recovery
• ​​​​​​​Analyze security logs and alerts to identify and respond to security incidents

​​​​​​​Security Assessments and Audits:

• Perform security assessments, audits, and inspections to identify gaps and areas for improvement
• ​​​​​​​Assist in the development and maintenance of security documentation and procedures

​​​​​​​Security Monitoring and Analysis:

• Monitor security systems and logs for suspicious activity and potential security threats
• ​​​​​​​Analyze security data and generate reports to identify trends and patterns

​​​​​​​Security Policy and Procedure Implementation:

• Assist in the implementation of security policies, procedures, and standards
• ​​​​​​​Ensure compliance with industry regulations and security best practices

​​​​​​​Security Awareness and Training:

• Provide technical input for security awareness programs to employees on information security best practices and procedures

​​​​​​​Technology Research:

• Stay current with emerging security threats and technologies, and evaluate their potential impact on the organization
