Security Implementation and Maintenance: Implement and maintain security technologies such as SIEM, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and other security tools Configure and monitor security systems to detect and respond to security threat Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify 1 security weaknesses Incident Response: Participate in security incident response efforts, including containment, eradication, and recovery Analyze security logs and alerts to identify and respond to security incidents Security Assessments and Audits: Perform security assessments, audits, and inspections to identify gaps and areas for improvement Assist in the development and maintenance of security documentation and procedures Security Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor security systems and logs for suspicious activity and potential security threats Analyze security data and generate reports to identify trends and patterns Security Policy and Procedure Implementation: Assist in the implementation of security policies, procedures, and standards Ensure compliance with industry regulations and security best practices Security Awareness and Training: Provide technical input for security awareness programs to employees on information security best practices and procedures Technology Research: Stay current with emerging security threats and technologies, and evaluate their potential impact on the organization
