PT Satrya Maritim Indonesia is currently seeking a skilled ROV Technician - Electrical to support the operations of Bumi Subsea, a prominent provider of fast, efficient, and reliable underwater services. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and peak performance of all ROV electrical systems while maintaining strict compliance with ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 / ISO 14001, and international marine standards. In this role, you will oversee pre- and post-dive checks, manage fault reporting, maintain system logs, and conduct testing. You will also be tasked with planning and executing preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance for ROV electrical systems, power distribution, control systems, sensors, and subsea electronics. Additionally, you will supervise electrical preparation and testing during mobilization and demobilization to ensure equipment readiness for offshore deployment.
Tanggung jawab: Oversee pre/post-dive checks, fault reporting, system logs, and testing; Maintain clear communication between the vessel, workshop, and operations office; Plan and execute preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance for ROV electrical systems, power distribution, control systems, sensors, and subsea electronics; Supervise electrical preparation, testing, and inspection to guarantee all equipment is fully operational before offshore deployment; Ensure full compliance with company safety procedures, risk assessments, and international standards (SOLAS, MARPOL, ISO management systems); Exercise full authority to stop, suspend, or refuse any work activity deemed unsafe or non-compliant.
Kualifikasi: Minimum 3 years of hands-on working experience as an ROV Technician (Electrical) in the offshore oil & gas or subsea industry; Minimum Diploma (D3/D4) or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field; Strong background in ROV electrical systems, subsea electronics, power distribution, and troubleshooting methodologies; Familiarity with IMCA guidelines (R004, R006, D054, R010, R005) and QHSE regulations.
