Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with international material suppliers. End-to-End Import Coordination: Manage the full import cycle, including international shipping, customs documentation, and logistics coordination (Incoterms, Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoices). Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
Global Communication: Act as the main point of contact for overseas vendors, resolving discrepancies in orders or shipping delays via professional English correspondence. Quality & Compliance: Ensure all imported materials comply with local regulations and company quality standards. Inventory Oversight: Collaborate with the production team to forecast material needs and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
Kualifikasi
- Experience: 5+ years in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain, specifically within an import/export environment. (Experience in the furniture or home goods industry is a plus).
- Import Expertise: Deep understanding of customs regulations, freight forwarding, and international trade laws.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (written and verbal) is mandatory for daily communication with global suppliers.
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency in ERP software, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Excel for tracking orders and analyzing costs.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to navigate the complexities of global logistics, such as port delays or supply chain disruptions, with a calm and analytical approach.
