About the Job Our client, a leading developer and operator of AI and hyperscale data centres in Asia, is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead data centre procurement operations. This is a full-time role focused on managing CAPEX procurement for complex MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) equipment sourcing and supplier relationships within a fast-paced data centre environment. The successful candidate will bring deep procurement expertise, strong commercial negotiation skills, and fluency in Mandarin to support stakeholder engagement across the organisation. Preferred Requirements Minimum 3 years of hands-on procurement experience specifically in the data centre industry, with demonstrated expertise in MEP equipment and CAPEX purchases. Strong commercial acumen and proven negotiation skills with the ability to secure favourable terms and manage supplier relationships. Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) to support cross-functional communication and stakeholder engagement. Meticulous attention to detail with strong compliance and documentation practices in a regulated procurement environment. Solid decision-making and interpersonal skills, with experience working across multiple departments and technical teams. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. 5 to 8 years' total procurement experience within data centres, telecommunications, EPC, or other related infrastructure industries. Professional procurement certification or equivalent demonstrated expertise in complex equipment sourcing and supplier management.
