Procurement - Furniture Industry

Manage the procurement of raw materials, supporting materials, accessories, machinery, and operational requirements in accordance with approved requests and budgets. Source, evaluate, and develop local and international vendors/suppliers to secure the best quality, pricing, and service. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and supplier contracts to achieve cost efficiency.

Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor the procurement process until goods are delivered according to specifications, quantities, and delivery schedules. Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth procurement processes and fulfillment of operational requirements. Conduct periodic supplier performance evaluations based on product quality, on-time delivery, pricing, and service performance.

Maintain vendor databases, contract documentation, and all procurement-related administrative records in compliance with company procedures and audit standards. Monitor material inventory levels in collaboration with the Warehouse team to prevent shortages and excess stock. Analyze material price trends and market conditions to support effective and cost-efficient purchasing strategies.

Bachelor's degree in Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 4–5 years of experience in Procurement/Purchasing within the furniture manufacturing industry . Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, contract administration, and supplier negotiations.

Knowledge of furniture materials, including solid wood, plywood, MDF, HPL, veneer, furniture hardware, finishing materials, and other related components. Strong analytical skills in cost analysis, budgeting, and supplier performance evaluation. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level), and ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or similar platforms.
