Poject Manager (Ocean Export & Import)

Oversee end-to-end Ocean Freight Export & Import operations, ensuring efficient, compliant, and timely shipment execution. Lead, supervise, and develop the Ocean Operations team to achieve operational excellence and service quality. Manage daily operational activities and ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, and international shipping regulations.

Coordinate with shipping lines, overseas agents, customs brokers, trucking vendors, warehouses, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless cargo movement. Resolve operational issues, manage escalations, and provide effective solutions to maintain customer satisfaction. Monitor team performance, operational KPIs, and shipment status while driving continuous process improvements.

Collaborate with the Sales and Customer Service teams to support business development and operational solutions. Ensure the effective use of CargoWise and other logistics systems. Perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Minimum 6–7 years of experience in Ocean Freight Export & Import operations within the freight forwarding industry. Minimum 3–4 years of experience managing an Ocean Operations team in a freight forwarding company.

In-depth knowledge of international shipping procedures, freight forwarding documentation, customs clearance, and carrier management. Proven experience in leading operational teams and improving operational performance. Strong understanding of CargoWise; hands-on experience is preferred.
