Save the Children Vietnam membuka kesempatan bagi individu yang berdedikasi untuk mengisi posisi Project Officer dalam rangka implementasi proyek Young mind: Safe Family demi mendukung kesehatan mental dan kesejahteraan kaum muda di Vietnam (BEING) serta berbagai proyek lainnya. Pemegang peran ini akan bertanggung jawab penuh atas pelaksanaan kegiatan proyek di berbagai lokasi penugasan, berkoordinasi secara erat dengan Project Manager serta mitra lokal guna memastikan tercapainya target pengiriman proyek secara efektif, efisien, dan tepat sasaran. Selain itu, posisi ini berperan dalam memastikan bahwa seluruh operasional lapangan selaras dengan prinsip-prinsip pemrograman, pendekatan, dan standar kualitas Save the Children International (SCI) serta para anggotanya, dengan menerapkan praktik terbaik dan pembelajaran guna membantu anak-anak menggapai hak-hak mereka serta patuh terhadap regulasi donor.

Kualifikasi: At least, bachelor’s degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Sociology, Education, Development Studies, Public Health or another relevant field; Relevant training or demonstrated technical knowledge in child and adolescent development, positive discipline for parenting or equivalent; Knowledge of school-based career orientation and/or life skills and adolescent development approaches; Demonstrated competence in project cycle management, partnership management, financial management and risk management; Strong understanding of child rights, meaningful child participation, child-centred approaches and child safeguarding; EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS; Essential; Minimum of three years’ experience working with an INGO environment, including experience directing and implementing programs, with at least three years in similar positions; Relationship building and partnership development skills; Good interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to respond effectively to challenges, and work effectively in a cross-culture environment; Good project cycle management skills, including project reporting; Good understanding of challenges facing vulnerable children and communities in Vietnam; Experience in Child rights or Child protection projects implementation; Good communication skills both verbally and in written form in English and Vietnamese; Commitment to humanitarian principles/accountability frameworks, especially for work with vulnerable populations; Ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds, to motivate and inspire team work; Ability to analyze information, evaluate options and to think strategically; Commitment to and understanding of SCI aims, values and principles including rights-based approaches; Desirable; Flexibility and a sense of humour – ability to work, live and thrive in challenging circumstances; Have a very high level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness; Be both self-confident and humble; Experience of working with local government and partners; Experience of working in an emergency setting and/or commitment to build that capacity; Thrive in a fast-paced and fun environment; Working with businesses in the global supply chain is desired; Additional job responsibilities; The duties and responsibilities as set out above are not exhaustive and the role holder may be required to carry out additional duties within reasonableness of their level of skills and experience; The role holder is required to carry out the duties in accordance with the SCI Equal Opportunities and Diversity policies and procedures; We need to keep children safe so our selection process, which includes rigorous background checks, reflects our commitment to the protection of children from abuse; Level 3: the post holder will have contact with children and/or young people frequently (e.g. once a week or more) because they work in country programs; The role holder is required to carry out the duties in accordance with SCI Health and Safety policies and procedures.
