About the role Scholario Indonesia is seeking a passionate and dedicated Mentor Science (Physics & Chemistry) to join our educational team in South Denpasar, Bali. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in shaping the scientific understanding and academic development of secondary school students. As a Science Mentor specialising in Physics and Chemistry, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, interactive lessons that inspire students to develop a genuine interest in science whilst achieving academic excellence. This role is integral to our mission of providing high-quality education and fostering critical thinking skills in our students. Key responsibilities Deliver engaging and well-structured Physics and Chemistry lessons to secondary school students, utilising a variety of teaching methodologies and resources Develop and design comprehensive lesson plans, materials, and assessments aligned with curriculum standards and learning objectives Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation, curiosity, and scientific inquiry Conduct laboratory practicals and hands-on experiments to reinforce theoretical concepts and develop practical scientific skills Assess student progress through regular formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support learning Maintain detailed records of student performance and progress, identifying areas requiring additional support or challenge Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and ensure consistency across the science curriculum Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for development Participate in professional development opportunities and stay current with advances in science education and pedagogy Support school events, excursions, and extracurricular science activities that enhance student learning experiences What we're looking
