Posisi ini bertanggung jawab untuk merencanakan, menyiapkan, dan menyampaikan materi pelajaran matematika yang terstruktur bagi siswa sekolah dasar sesuai dengan kurikulum sekolah. Guru diharapkan mampu menciptakan lingkungan kelas yang positif, inklusif, dan mendorong keterlibatan serta rasa ingin tahu siswa. Peran ini mencakup penilaian kemajuan siswa melalui metode formatif dan sumatif, penggunaan berbagai metode pengajaran interaktif, serta diferensiasi instruksi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan belajar siswa yang beragam. Guru juga akan berkolaborasi dengan rekan sejawat untuk pengembangan kurikulum dan berkomunikasi secara rutin dengan orang tua mengenai perkembangan akademik siswa.
Tanggung jawab: Planning, preparing and delivering well-structured mathematics lessons to primary school students that align with the school curriculum and learning objectives; Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement, curiosity and a growth mindset towards mathematics; Assessing student progress through formative and summative assessments, and providing constructive feedback to support individual learning needs; Utilising a variety of teaching methods and resources, including visual aids, manipulatives, technology and interactive activities to make mathematics engaging and accessible; Differentiating instruction to cater to students of varying abilities and learning styles, including providing additional support for struggling learners and enrichment for advanced students; Maintaining accurate records of student achievement, attendance and progress, and communicating regularly with parents regarding their child's mathematical development; Collaborating with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum content, share best practices and contribute to the professional development of the mathematics department; Participating in school activities, events and professional development opportunities to support whole-school objectives.
