Manager Tax

About the role PT BMC Cosmetics Indonesia is seeking an experienced Manager Tax to join our Finance and Compliance team. Based in Demak, Jawa Tengah, this is a full-time position that plays a crucial strategic role in managing all tax-related matters for our organisation. As Manager Tax, you will be responsible for ensuring our company maintains full compliance with Indonesian tax regulations whilst optimising our tax position and mitigating risks. This role is integral to our financial governance and reporting processes.

Key responsibilities Develop, implement and oversee comprehensive tax strategies and policies aligned with company objectives and regulatory requirements Manage all aspects of corporate income tax, including annual tax filings, quarterly payments and tax compliance documentation

Oversee Value Added Tax (VAT) compliance, including monthly VAT returns, reconciliation and management of input and output tax Handle payroll tax and personal income tax withholding obligations for all employees Monitor changes in tax legislation and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance and identify opportunities for tax optimisation

Prepare and maintain detailed tax documentation, supporting records and audit files for internal and external audits Liaise with tax authorities, government agencies and external tax consultants on matters of compliance and dispute resolution Conduct regular tax risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate potential exposure

Supervise and mentor junior tax staff and coordinate with other finance team members Provide tax guidance to management on business decisions and their tax implications Ensure timely and accurate submission of all tax returns and payments to relevant authorities
