The Islamic Studies Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering meaningful, student-centered Islamic education that fosters a deep understanding of Islamic teachings, faith, moral values, and daily religious practices. The role focuses on building strong character, integrity, empathy, respect, and responsibility in students while maintaining an inclusive and supportive learning environment that aligns with the school's educational philosophy. Key duties include developing engaging learning activities covering Islamic beliefs, worship, the Qur'an, Islamic history, and moral values. The teacher monitors student progress, provides constructive feedback, maintains accurate academic records, and coordinates school-wide religious activities and celebrations, while collaborating with colleagues to promote positive values within the school community.
Tanggung jawab: Plan and deliver engaging Islamic Studies lessons appropriate to students’ ages, abilities, and learning needs; Develop learning activities covering Islamic beliefs, worship, the Qur'an, Islamic history, and moral values in alignment with the school’s curriculum; Encourage students to apply Islamic teachings and values in their daily lives through honesty, empathy, respect, and responsibility; Monitor student understanding and progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate academic records; Provide guidance and support for students’ religious learning and character development; Support and coordinate Islamic religious activities, celebrations, and school programs as assigned; Collaborate with colleagues and school leaders to promote positive values within the wider school community; Participate in school meetings, training, and professional development activities.
Kualifikasi: Relevant educational background and qualifications in Islamic Studies or a related field; Teaching experience or relevant professional experience; Familiarity with the IB framework is an advantage; Strong communication, instructional, and classroom management skills.
