DP Counselor bertanggung jawab memberikan bimbingan akademik, dukungan personal, serta konseling universitas dan karier untuk membantu siswa menavigasi IB Diploma Programme. Peran ini membantu siswa dalam membuat pilihan akademik yang tepat, pengembangan diri, dan persiapan jalur masa depan mereka. Tanggung jawab: Guide students in understanding DP requirements, selecting subjects, and planning appropriate academic pathways.; Provide university and career counseling, including guidance on higher education options, admission requirements, scholarships, and career opportunities.; Support students throughout university applications, including application timelines, personal statements, recommendation letters, and required documentation.; Provide personal, social, and academic support, identify students’ needs or challenges, and coordinate appropriate support with teachers, parents, and school leaders.; Collaborate with the DP Coordinator to guide students in understanding and fulfilling the requirements of the Extended Essay (EE), Theory of Knowledge (TOK), and Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS).; Communicate with parents regarding students’ academic progress, well-being, and future pathways.; Maintain accurate and confidential counseling records and build relationships with universities and relevant external organizations.; Uphold student safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional boundaries..
Kualifikasi: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field.; Relevant experience in student counseling, academic guidance, or university admissions counseling.; Familiarity with the IB Diploma Programme is an advantage..
