About the role Taman Rama School, part of the Taman Mahatma Gandhi Foundation, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Guru SD1 (Primary Year 1 Teacher) to join our primary education team in Denpasar, Bali. This is a full-time position based at our school campus. As a Year 1 teacher, you will play a crucial role in establishing strong foundational learning experiences for our youngest primary students, fostering their academic development, creativity, and personal growth during these formative years of their education.

Key responsibilities Deliver high-quality, engaging classroom instruction aligned with the school curriculum for Year 1 students Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes student engagement and academic progress

Plan and prepare well-structured lessons that cater to diverse learning needs and foster critical thinking skills Assess student progress through ongoing observation, formative and summative assessments, and maintain accurate records Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behaviour and development

Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials, share best practices and support the school's educational vision Supervise students during classroom activities, breaks and other school functions Participate in school events, professional development activities and staff meetings

Manage classroom behaviour and discipline in a positive, constructive manner consistent with school policies What we're looking
