About the role We are seeking a Finance Supervisor to join our finance team in Batam, Riau Islands. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and accuracy of our operations. As Finance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing financial accounting activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the delivery of timely and accurate financial reporting. This role is integral to our finance function and directly contributes to the strategic objectives of Asia Pulp and Paper.

Key responsibilities Supervise and coordinate financial accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management Review and verify financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting policies and procedures

Prepare and review financial reports, including monthly management accounts and statutory financial statements Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies or variances Manage and maintain financial accounting records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements

Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts Ensure timely processing of invoices, expenses, and payroll-related transactions Liaise with internal departments and external auditors to support audit processes

Train and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient finance team Identify process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy What we're looking for
