Politeknik Internasional Bali is an educational institution seeking a Finance Accounting and Tax Director to lead financial operations and tax strategy. This full-time leadership role is responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, financial reporting, and tax compliance to ensure institutional integrity and support growth objectives. The Director will manage the accounting team, establish internal controls, and serve as a key liaison with external auditors and regulatory bodies. The position requires a strategic thinker capable of optimizing tax positions while ensuring full adherence to Indonesian tax legislation and accounting standards.
Tanggung jawab: Oversee all financial accounting functions, including general ledger management, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close procedures.; Lead the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements.; Develop and implement comprehensive tax strategy and planning initiatives.; Manage all tax compliance obligations, including income tax returns, VAT, payroll tax reporting, and statutory filings.; Direct and supervise the accounting team, providing mentorship and performance management.; Establish and maintain robust internal controls and accounting policies.; Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.; Prepare comprehensive financial reports and analysis for senior management and the board of directors.; Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement systems enhancements..
