English Teacher for Kids

About the role eNow Kids is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher for Kids to join our educational team in Makassar, South Sulawesi. This is a full-time position based on-site, where you will play a vital role in shaping young learners' English language skills and fostering a love of learning. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons to children and creating an inclusive classroom environment that supports their linguistic and personal development. This role is fundamental to our mission of providing quality English language education to students in the Makassar region.

Key responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to the age, proficiency level and learning needs of your students Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation and confidence in language learning

Assess student progress through a variety of methods, including formative assessments, quizzes and speaking exercises, and provide constructive feedback Develop and utilise a range of teaching materials and resources, including textbooks, multimedia content and interactive activities Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, achievements and areas for improvement

Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions and collaborative planning with fellow educators Foster cultural awareness and global perspectives within the classroom whilst teaching English language skills Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades and progress reports
