Engineering Assistant Manager

• Overseeing daily engineering and maintenance operations within the mall
• Ensure all building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, elevators, escalators, and mechanical systems) are operating efficiently and safely
• Supervise and coordinate engineering staff, technicians, and external contractors
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all mall facilities and equipment
• Monitor building systems and respond promptly to operational issues or emergencies
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards
• Assist in preparing maintenance schedules, technical reports, and operational documentation
• Coordinate with tenants regarding technical requirements, maintenance issues, and facility-related support
• Support renovation projects, tenant fit-outs, and other engineering-related projects within the mall
• Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building engineering, facility management, or mall/commercial property operations
• Strong knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire protection, and building management systems (BMS)
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations
• Familiarity with safety regulations and preventive maintenance programs
