Design MEP

About the role We are seeking an experienced Design MEP professional to join CV Jaya Mulya in Surabaya, Jawa Timur. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our technical drafting operations. As a Design MEP specialist, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system designs for various construction and infrastructure projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that all MEP systems are efficiently designed, properly coordinated, and compliant with relevant building codes and standards. This role is essential to our ability to deliver high-quality technical solutions to our clients.

Key responsibilities Develop detailed MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) system designs using industry-standard software and tools Create comprehensive technical drawings, schematics, and specifications for mechanical systems, including HVAC, ventilation, and equipment layouts

Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting systems, emergency systems, and control systems Prepare plumbing system designs including water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems in accordance with applicable codes Coordinate MEP designs with architectural and structural teams to ensure seamless integration and clash detection

Perform calculations and load analyses for HVAC, electrical capacity, and plumbing requirements Conduct system optimisation studies to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs Prepare detailed specifications and bills of quantities for MEP systems

Conduct site visits and inspections to verify design implementation and resolve on-site technical issues Maintain project documentation and ensure all drawings are updated and properly archived Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met
