Mahatma Gandhi School membuka kesempatan bagi tenaga pendidik yang berdedikasi untuk bergabung sebagai Career Guidance Counselor guna mendampingi para siswa dalam merencanakan jalur akademik dan karier masa depan mereka. Peran ini berfokus pada pemberian bimbingan komprehensif agar siswa dapat mengenali minat, potensi, serta pilihan perguruan tinggi yang paling tepat, baik di dalam maupun luar negeri. Tanggung jawab harian meliputi pelaksanaan sesi konseling individual maupun kelompok, penyelenggaraan lokakarya karier, serta pemberian informasi terkait proses pendaftaran universitas dan beasiswa. Konselor juga bertindak sebagai penghubung yang kooperatif antara siswa, orang tua, guru, dan pihak manajemen sekolah demi mendukung perkembangan akademik dan pribadi siswa secara menyeluruh.
Tanggung jawab: Provide individual and group career counseling to students; Guide students in identifying their interests, strengths, abilities, and career aspirations; Assist students in exploring suitable university, college, and higher education options locally and internationally; Provide guidance on university applications, admission requirements, scholarships, and application timelines; Support students in selecting appropriate academic subjects, majors, and career pathways; Conduct career talks, workshops, university information sessions, and related student development programs; Maintain up-to-date information on universities, courses, scholarships, career trends, and admission requirements; Build and maintain relationships with universities, colleges, educational institutions, and career-related organizations; Coordinate with teachers, academic leaders, parents, and school management regarding students' academic and career development; Maintain confidential and accurate student counseling records and follow appropriate safeguarding and confidentiality procedures; Monitor students' progress and provide appropriate follow-up support.
Kualifikasi: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, Career Guidance, or a related field; Previous experience in career counseling, university counseling, student counseling, or a similar role, preferably in an international or private school environment; Good knowledge of university admissions and higher education pathways, both in Indonesia and internationally; Strong communication, interpersonal, counseling, and presentation skills; Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; Able to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, and school leadership; Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; Caring, approachable, and committed to supporting students' academic and personal development.
